Change in Chain

Updated: Jul 21, 2019

You might be wondering what is the change in a chain so let me clarify it for you guys. I am talking about the stream flow of our society that goes around the ratta system and tge student’s dilemma about the selection of field, as a saying goes by that;

The Youth of a Nation are the trustees of posterity

Only us, the youth has the power to change the fate of a nation but when we lost on our journey no one can save that country from fall. Youth can either create or destroy the fortune of the nation, when we don’t pay specific attention to them, don’t guide them towards the right the path they lose their route, their passion and their interest as well.

We are living in the 72th year of independence and the recent showed that about 29 percent of the population of Pakistan belongs to the age of 15-29 but there are only few youngsters who know there right path the rest of them are like me struggling to find the correct way. I remember when I was in my intermediate I didn’t know anything like; what I am going to study? What is the right path for me to choose? What are the possible options I can choose from? What subject suits my interest?

But that time I did pay any attention to myself and followed the plan my parents set for me without knowing whether it is the course I am interested in or I want to study. At first it was a bit difficult for me adjust in the atmosphere of physics which I didn’t like that much but I had no other option but just to study hard and take that as my fate. During my graduation I found that it was not only me who felt out of space but some of my classmates were also unlucky to choose the subject not suited for them. When I graduated from university I discovered that there are so many students just like me who are in dilemma of what to do?? that was the point in my life when I decided to do something productive for the youth of my country.

I just remembered the words uttered by Donovan Bailey that;

Every kid needs a mentor. Everybody needs a mentor

I wanted to guide them, educate them about the options they can choose from according to their personality and interest. Finally Allah blessed me with the opportunity to work for what I dream of, at Amal Fellowship I got a chance to work the people of like mind set, the fellows who think the same way and we set a goal for our self that we would bring a change in the chain of this system.

That was the point when we decided to start the Career counseling program for the students of Intermediate those who are going to take their first step towards their future, this first step determines whether you’ll be happy or regretted for your whole life.

We believe that every child has something unique in him; every person has their own strength and passion to work for the better future. What we are here for is just to provide them the basic knowledge about the different fields and majors they opt, whether its Engineering or Medical every student is perplexed about what engineering should they go for or should I go for MBBS or not.

Our project is to guide the youth towards their goal because

Who so neglects learning in his youth loses the past and is dead to the future.
